Well, pretty as it is, my Bates was too small for me, and my Gunnar wasn't wierd enough for me, so I've stripped the Bates of its Sturmey-Archer ASC 3-speed fixed-gear hub and installed it on the Gunnar--backwards!

I'm running a 52 tooth Biopace chainring, with an 18 tooth sprocket in back. The ASC hub gives me a choice of three gears:
