Housing Stops

Origin8 Clamp-on Double Stop for Standard 1 1/8" (28.6mm) Downtubes. CAH55

These allow the installation of any type of handlebar shifters on frames that don't have housing stops or braze-ons on the down tube.
The 1 1/8" (28.6 mm) diameter fits the down tubes of most older steel frames. Can also be used as rear brake housing stop on top tube.
If you want to use this with Shimano STI shifters, you will also need an inline cable adjusters to allow you to make fine adjustments to the front derailer indexing.

Cable Housing Stop Adaptors (Curved Back) for Brazed-on Shifter Bosses FS1066

This version has a curved back that fits neatly against the down tubes of most steel frames that have downtube shifter braze-ons.

Cable Housing Stop Adaptors (Flat Back) for Brazed-on Shifter Bosses FS1069

This version has a curved back that fits neatly against the flattened projections on the base downtube shifter mounts. This version is the one usually required for aluminum or carbon frames.
