B72 Antique Brown SA152 $149.95The B72 was standard equipment on the classic Raleigh Sports 3-speed bicycles.
The frame has single loops which provide a very slight amount of spring action. This saddle is the correct model to use if you are trying to do a restoration of an older Raleigh/Rudge/Humber "Sports" model, but for general riding comfort, we would suggest going with the fully-sprung B66, which has the same basic shape, and is about the same price.
This is the model that came as standard equipment on the Raleigh Sports 3-speed.
The B72 is a double-rail saddleThese use a special clamp (included) for old-style "pipe-type" seatposts.
To use them with modern "microadjusting" seatposts, you need a "Seat Sandwich"
The B72 features bag loops to permit the use of a traditional English-style touring bag.
Length 255 mm Width 205 mm Weight 695 grams
