Any bicycle tire can be a folding tire that fits into a pannier bag or handlebar bag. Sheldon Brown will show you the trick that makes this possible.

Sheldon and I recorded this video in his back yard in the fall of 2007. The video is a bit blurry because we made it with one of Sheldon's digital still cameras. I stood on a chair behind him, looking over his shoulder: his choice of camera angle, so the view would be like that of a person learning the technique. I had known about folding a tire in three loops, but placing the hands at the 10 minutes to two o'clock positions -- to grasp the tire where it crosses over -- was new to me. There was always something new to learn from Sheldon, but unfortunately, we did not get to make more videos together.
